Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective (CPPAC) is a non-profit music and theatre education organization serving greater St. Johns and surrounding North Portland communities. This community-driven nonprofit was founded by St. Johns residents who are professional musicians and teachers with a passion for the performing arts. CPPAC operates on the belief that self-determination, a sense of freedom and motivation to do what is interesting, personally important, and vitalizing, is instrumental to the creative process and a key component to achieving one’s goals at all stages of life.

At Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective, we believe in lifelong learning and the power of intergenerational engagement. Our Intergenerational Program brings people of all ages together to engage in music and theatre, to learn from one another, and to break down barriers caused by ageist stereotypes. Our community partnerships with organizations such as Bridge Meadows, Harvest Homes Assisted Living, and Assumption Village Retirement & Assisted Living have served over 500 community members since our organization's founding in the fall of 2015. Programs such as "Our Voice, Our Stories" at Bridge Meadows, "Homemade Jam: Intergenerational Jam Sessions" at Harvest Homes, and "Lift Your Voice! Choir" at Assumption Village connect community members of all ages weekly throughout the year.
