Please join us for our annual Spring Award Luncheon and our first ever health and well-being symposium! For the first time at this event, we are excited to host a panel of experts to explore the topic of community mental health in a morning symposium session before our Award Luncheon.

For this year’s Luncheon program, we can’t wait to welcome world-renowned speaker, professor, and psychiatrist Dr. Dixon Chibanda as our keynote speaker. Dr. Chibanda is an associate professor at the University of Zimbabwe, the director of the African Mental Health Research Initiative (AMARI), and creator of the Friendship Bench program in Zimbabwe, a cognitive therapy-based approach to depression provided by trained grandmothers in the community.

All proceeds from this event benefit Bridge Meadows, intergenerational housing communities for children formerly in foster care, their parents, and elders.
