Our Impact
Bridge Meadows creates and inspires intergenerational communities enriching the well-being of children, families, and elders. Our social purpose is to provide permanency of home and family for children and youth who have been impacted by the foster care system. With stable housing, a network of support, and wraparound therapeutic services that improve both physical and mental health, all three generations at Bridge Meadows can move from the stress of instability toward flourishing and prosperity.
Bridge Meadows operates three communities across the state of Oregon -- North Portland (est. 2011), Beaverton (est. 2017), and Redmond (est. 2021). We feel a grand sense of urgency to build more intergenerational communities and support more children, parents, and elders. We are changing lives one community at a time. Proceeds from the IMAGINE gala & auction will support on-site programs, mental health services, and future community site developments.
NOW is the time to invest in community-based solutions to health and well-being. With your support, we can continue changing lives and creating a better future for children impacted by foster care, families, and elders. Learn more about our work and the impact of your support at bridgemeadows.org.
Our community members tell it best.
"Bridge Meadows was this turning point for me and my family. If it wasn’t for Bridge Meadows, we would probably not be in the best situation." - Adam, 12 years old
"When our licensing worker told us that a place like Bridge Meadows even existed, it really was like a dream come true." - Josie, parent
"When I wake up in the morning I feel gratitude. I am so happy this place is here, that a bunch of people cared enough to come together with their resources and give us a place where we could live healthy lives.” - Julia, elder
“For me, Bridge Meadows is about thriving and not just surviving. We have these gorgeous homes that have plenty space for my kids and then they get all the services – the art, the therapy, the dance. I want my kids to have a lot enrichment and they get that at Bridge Meadows, but the staff brings that enrichment to us, which makes it so much easier to access.” - Laura, parent
“What’s important to me about living at Bridge Meadows is the community and all the kids. We all call each other brothers and sisters…it’s really hard to make friends at school so coming home to all these people feels good.” - Lucy, 13 years old
